Jerry Cripe and Daniel Replogle of Auburn High and Cromwell High won all expense trips to the National Science Fair International for themselves and advisors at the Tri-State College weekend event. Awards covered chemistry, engineering, physics, and various certificates from Navy, Army, NASA, and industry.

Douglas J Marshall of Flint Michigan, a Tri State College student in the Motor Transportation Administration program, received the Schneider Memorial Scholarship. He has earned scholastic honors, serves in campus leadership roles, and is active in Beta Sigma Chi and the Motor Transport Society. The award honors scholastic ability, character and promise, with tuition credit renewable upon continued performance.

Evening extension courses run full quarter with multiple offerings for technical and home crafts. TSC Trustee Honored For Distinguished Service
Dr. Perry T. Ford of Columbus Ohio, long time chairman of Tri-State College Trustees, is spotlighted in The Ohio Engineer for his engineering leadership. The OSPE honors include Ohio drainage law guidance, engineering education, and devotion to the profession. Ford, a longtime leader and past acting president, has a memorial library named in his honor at Tri-State College.

Great Books Discussion Group Spring Sessions Start
The Great Books discussion group at TriState College Angola Indiana begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday April 6 in Room 212 with Dr William A West as group leader. There is no fee for adults who enjoy stimulating reading and thoughtful discussion. Meetings occur every two weeks to discuss a great book or portion thereof.
