Peeping Suspect Shot After Home Invasions

Mrs. Marjorie Wright of 409 West Ninth Street warned off an intruder who returned on Saturday night. A second visit led her to threaten to shoot. She fired four times after a midnight intrusion. Henry Edwards, 18, was found in hospital Monday with a shoulder wound from a bullet.

Mrs Emil Sunquist died in Rochester Minnesota on July 12. She was born in 188? to Mr and Mrs John Lardie and married Emil Sunquist in 1912. A lifelong Peninsula resident she left a husband, her parents and three sisters among other relatives.

Amttina Nelson died at her home Tuesday night after 32 years in the area. She leaves her husband two daughters Alta and Mrs Sivert Christianson three sons Emil Bernard Theo two brothers Peter and Alfred Strattenberg and three sisters in Sweden. Funeral services from the home at 1 and from the Swedish Church at 2 Friday with interment at Cedar City.

Arthur Lafayette dies of heart disease on peninsula

Arthur C. Lafayette, 48, died at home on the peninsula Monday night from heart disease. A resident for many years he was well known and respected. He leaves a daughter Cecil and three brothers William, Henry and Peter. Funeral services were held from the home at 20 Black Thursday afternoon, with burial in Oakwood.
