Boston reports Wolcott leading with 83 243 votes while remaining towns tally. Senate stands 33 Republicans to 7 Democrats. House shows 164 Republicans 67 Democrats 2 Social Democrats 5 independents and 2 ties.
New Haven Connecticut November 10 The Republicans carry the state by about 12000 votes and secure a Republican legislature. The congressional delegation remains Republican in this election.

The fifth annual United Daughters of the Confederacy convention opened in Hot Springs Arkansas with large attendance. National president Mrs Kate Cabell Currie of Texas presided at the Arlington hotel opening in tastefully decorated parlors. The opening session was largely routine.
The presidential party arrived in Washington at 7 45 in the morning and, on the road home, the president received Associated Press election bulletins. He repeatedly expressed gratification at the results in several hotly contested states.
The United States transport Roumania arrived in New York after sailing from Arroyo and Ponce on November 3.
