OUR BOYS IN CAMP peters From Bugier Newton

I arrived in camp yesterday with most men well except Nichols who has a lame back. The day included drill and a lake bath where a fight between Companies H and M broke out over a newsboy. A bystander named Slade intervened and threw the offending man into the water. After rag chewing, meals and speeches, peace was restored. We expect a hot day and plan to leave Monday for Falls Church, Virginia. I'll write again with further details after the trip.
