Flint Creek Power project eyed for Phillipsburg area
A new Flint Creek Power company plans to harness Flint Creek Falls two miles below Georgetown to power Philipsburg Granite Georgetown Cable Pyrenees and perhaps Anaconda. The scheme aims to deliver about 2500 horsepower eight months yearly via wires to mines mills and other users at an outlay near 75000 dollars.

Bridge work advances on Belt Montaia line
Work on the Belt Montana branch proceeds with grading nearing completion. Contractors expect all bridge work finished in about eight days weather permitting with only two bridges remaining. Tracklaying slated for this week and cars expected to arrive at Barker between August 1 and 10. The two Helena bicyclers arrived Friday, spent the Fourth in Billings, and will likely reach the World’s Fair in time if they don’t lose the road again.
