Cleveland Sept 27 The Twenty fourth United States infantry a colored regiment famed at Juan and Santi battles passed through Nickel Plate Railway late last night en route from Montauk Port to western army posts. The train in two sections carried part of the regiment to Port D. A. Russell Wyoming while the other section carried the remainder to Fort Doudat Utah. Major Markley and the last wounded from Santiago who had recovered were aboard the trains.
