Three Escape in Yavapai Co Jail Delivery
Phoenix reports three prisoners escaped from Yavapai County Jail by sawing bars and lowering on blanket ropes. The fugitives, a white man Fred Clemens and two Mexicans, fled toward the New River area. Deputies searched later with no trace. Clemens is 30, 5 ft 8 in, 168 pounds, light hair, blue eyes, smooth shaved with a scar on his right hand. John Dow Gomez and John Doe Fonds also escaped.

Returned Machine Gunner Killed in Douglas Accident
