Cleary Talk Denounced by Bisbee Union and Officials
A broad, signed statement from Bisbee area leaders, miners and businessmen condemns Bill Cleary and his anti war stance. They describe his rhetoric as fomenting industrial strife and illegal actions, defend deportations as lawful, and support local authorities and the I W W opponents.
