Stolen Chickens From Cassell Grocery Store
A dozen chickens were stolen from a locked coop in front of Cassell grocery last Friday after 11 PM. Officer Huprich found feathers on the sidewalk and recovered the birds in a sack Saturday morning. heads had been wrung. No arrests made, but authorities have a strong suspicion about the culprits.
