The home talent play Out in the Streets was staged Tuesday night at Jensen theatre for St. Ann's church. Despite inclement weather it drew a large crowd and raised a neat sum for church work. The show met home talent standards with praise for all participants and strong vocal and instrumental numbers between acts. Funeral Held for Helen Gibbs on Quality Hill
Funeral services for Helen Gibbs who died March 20 were conducted at her mother's home on Quality Hill with Rev. Jacobs officiating. The body was taken to New Bedford for burial accompanied by her mother and siblings. The procession traveled by rail to Walnut then ten miles by road. Interment followed at New Bedford Methodist Cemetery. Gibbs was a popular Public School pupil and her chair in class will be draped for two weeks. Grandmother Mrs. Anna Swan of New Bedford joined the funeral procession.

The Toluca Elevator Co farmers cooperative held its annual meeting last Saturday March 22 at the Jensen theatre. Morning business sessions elected Jacob Fecht Fred Winkle and Roscoe Ball to another term as directors and approved the manager’s report which was pleasing. Discussion on storage plans ahead followed.
