Skipper the Persian Cat Finds Boarding Home in Corydon
War workers over four years sent here and there left pets with friends for board and room. Skipper, a Persian cat owned by Mrs Karl HIZelwood of Centerville, disliked being fenced in during Texas trips. He moved between Corydon households, first with a family with a cat named Hitler. After separating them, Skipper found another Corydon home, where the family grew fond of him. Upon reconversion, the owner returned to claim him, and they parted tearfully. Skipper, now grown, was happy with boarding life.
