Three Directors to Be Elected On County Board

Kossuth County will hold elections on March 14 to fill three seats on the County Board of Education. Area No. 2 six year term includes Swea City, Sentral, Greenwood, Bancroft, and others. Area No. 4 and a member at large will fill two year terms. Nomination papers due February 22 with twenty five signatures.

Skirt class notes and upcoming meeting dates

Mrs Hatten served attendees while visiting mother Mrs Erwin Eden. The group met February 5 and planned to finish their skirts. Virginia Fritz spoke on selecting a pattern and thanked Mrs Erwin Eden and Mrs Carroll for help. Next meeting is February 19 with materials for a blouse and pattern to bring.
