Hit and Run Driver Creates Excitement
Laine Brewster 28 of Fulton Illinois was arrested after a hit and run in Savanna. The pursuit ended in Thomson Route 84 with Brewster injured, restrained by four men, and taken to Savanna City Hospital before being released. He faces charges of operating while intoxicated and leaving the scene and will appear in Mt Carroll magistrate court on October 2.
