Plan For Reorganizing The Fulton State Bank Soon
A plan to reorganize the suspended Fulton State Bank was discussed and approved by stockholders and depositors at the Fulton Coliseum. Depositors would waive 40 percent of deposits for now, with the waived amount subscribed as stock to regain full funds through future dividends. The bank’s original capital would drop by 25,000 with 68,000 in undistributed profits added. A 2-person citizens committee will assist, and a list of local figures pledged to call on depositors.
