Thomson grade school claims undecided win over Mt Carroll

The Thomson team defeated Mt Carroll last Monday and will travel by bus to Mt Carroll next Tuesday for a 4 p.m. return game. A Thursday match at Milledgeville is set for Oct 3 with a 4:20 p.m. departure. many local figures and guests are listed among Sunday visitors and school announcements.

Merry Circle Club Meeting Next Wednesday

The Mount Carroll Merry Circle club will meet Wednesday October 9 at the Kingery School south east of Mt Carroll in the new clubhouse. Hostesses are Mrs Delores Baker and Mrs Dorothy Klita with an American Home program led by Mrs Anna Richter and a travelogue by Mrs Grace Keim followed by songs and business notes.
