Federal Public Service issues 2 million bond offering
The Federal Public Service Corporation, now controlling several utilities, announces a $2,000,000 6 percent first lien gold bond issue due 1947. The funds will fund acquisitions, debt repayments, and working capital as the firm expands in Minnesota Iowa Illinois Wisconsin Kentucky and West Virginia serving 222000 people with 26,400 customers across 160 communities.
