Members of the seventh grade of Thomson consolidated grade school were guests of the eighth graders at a spirited afternoon party on Tuesday from 2 45 to 4 oclock. They played games and enjoyed refreshments of popcorn cake and sandwiches, reporting a very excellent time.

Hillsdale high has produced top players joining the town team, while Rock Island county players claim they can defeat Garrell county stars. Admission is 3 10 and 15 cents. Forreston town team Oilers lose to Thomson 40 36 in a rough Saturday game as Thomson overcome floor roughness to win.
