Dean Bailey aged 44 passed away Saturday at Savanna Hospital after a week with pneumonia. Born Oct 3 1888 in Thomson Illinois, he lived his life in York County and farmed with his father Earl Bailey. Funeral services were held Monday at Thomson Christian Church with interment in Lower York Cemetery. Surviving are his father Earl Bailey and a sister Aleen Hoofstiller, with several nieces and nephews. Out-of-town attendees included relatives from Sterling, Clinton, Savanna, and nearby towns.
