Census field work starts November 8 1954 in local area

New Chryslers Out November 17

The 1955 Imperial line will be shown publicly in major cities on Wednesday November 17 with Chrysler Corp announcing the new model. County Clerk W M Nipe reports two marriage licenses issued this month at the office. Ronald L Pease and Carole Neis of Savanna wed, as did Wendell I Sage and Mary J Kelley of East Moline. New awnings are being installed at the county courthouse. In Carroll County circuit court hearings opened Monday in the City of Savanna versus Mid-Continent Petroleum Corp with Judge Leon A Zick presiding. Attorneys continued presenting Tuesday afternoon and witnesses were due.
