Notice of Sale Petition in Carroll County Court
Herbert S. Peck administrator of the estate of Alexander Fye has filed a petition in Carroll County Illinois to sell estate property to pay debts. The suit names Lilian Fye and Pansy Fye among defendants and directs them to appear July 3 1922 at Mount Carroll Court House to answer or demur.

Carpenter Hurt On Farm After Ladder Fall
John Schade, a carpenter, suffered a deep cut on the right cheek when a roof project on the E. C. Pratt farm gave way while he stood on a twenty foot ladder. He was treated by physicians and bruises noted as he escaped serious injury. Lynn Morgan, at Plum River, was pierced by a steel fragment near his right breast while cutting a rail and later had X rays in Savanna. he plans Chicago treatment for the fragment near a rib. A. H. Lichty of Bowling Green Florida, uncle of W. A. Slayman, died Friday May 29, after a career with J. M. Kinwalt in 1856. Slayman also learned of cousin W. H. Lichty’s death in Portland, Oregon, and Lichty’s Chicago post office service background.
