The Savanna Boys Band, 75 players in new uniforms backed by about 500 Savanna citizens, will visit Thomson on Friday May 26 for a concert on arrival. The band started six months ago under director A F Bremicker and aims to demonstrate countywide what a boys band can achieve.
Proceedings note the organization of the new village board with six members Sheridan Rawlins Carpenter Lewis Wilt and Fuller present. A motion to adjourn to May 1 1922 carried. Clerk A E Sheridan records minutes and bills approved. bond actions for Treasurer N 10 French and Clerk A E Sheridan authorized. committees named Finance Street and Alley Water Purchasing Board of Health. Lewis appointed water superintendent. One hundred and one people. 492 girls graduate from country schools this year.
