A 1896 Savanna High School graduate and 1908 Illinois bar admittee he worked in Savanna and Chicago banking before residing in Evanston. Pupils Strike Over Principal Rehire at Chestnut Park

Gleason Child Struck by Taxi in Savanna
Nancy Gleason four, daughter of Mr and Mrs Russell Gleason of Savanna, was seriously injured Friday afternoon when a taxicab driven by Lawrence Davis struck her. She suffered a potential skull fracture and internal injuries and was taken to Savanna hospital. The father had warned her to stay on the sidewalk before she darted into the street.
