Fire destroys barn at Albert Frank farm north of Thomson
Fire swept the Albert Frank farm barn north of Thomson on Sunday evening with substantial stock losses as Mr Frank failed to discover the blaze in time. Community notes report events including Clinton Girl Reserves entertainments at the Brandt cottage, visits by Dan Connell and John Carroll, and the Mt Carroll Girl's Glee Club win at Lanark with Thomson not represented. The Grade School Commencement is set for May 26 and the Shipping Association banquet and director elections are planned for June 7 at the Y C H S auditorium.

In the June Term 1926 chancery action Pearl Knoll Otto Enel files for divorce. Affidavit of non residence for Otto Knoll filed with Carroll County Clerk. Complainant’s bill of complaint filed May 1926, summons issued to be returnable June 1976. Andrew Strauch editor of the Chadwick Clarion arrested for unapproved stories, bonded at $1000 for grand jury appearance.
