Alumni Meet Plans Spring Reunion At Local High School
A Monday evening gathering of alumni at the high school discussed spring reunion plans. Funds were low, dues reduced, and a pot luck supper proposed to minimize costs. A dance with a 25 cent fee was considered to boost turnout. committees were named for program, decorating, dance, invitations, and the supper. A cafeteria style menu was approved featuring loaf, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, jellies, olives, Waldorf salad, pie or cake, and coffee.

Senior class presents Eyes of Love play at high school
A troupe of senior students performed Eyes of Love before a large crowd in the high school gym last Saturday night despite bad weather. Miss Grace Thomas received praise for directing. music was provided by Martindale Ako and Miss Bowers. The production, staged in a country home setting, drew Clinton locals and netted about fifty dollars for the class.

Wenders Board Hears Teacher Contract Reductions
The grade school board met Tuesday to discuss hiring for next year. New contracts were offered at reduced wages for several teachers, with Hemmer from 135 to 120 dollars and others from 108 to 85 monthly. York Community high school commercial students earned two seconds and a third at the Dixon sectional meet. Irene Rupple won a silver Section medal for combined speed and accuracy.
