Saint Patrick origins and the shamrock tale explained
The article argues Patrick was not Irish but British, born near Glasgow, raised Roman Catholic, and later returned to Ireland as its patron saint in 432. It explains the shamrock symbol as Patrick’s teaching tool, debunks the snake myth, and notes St. Patrick’s Day celebrations began in Boston in 1737 with Irish heritage zeal.
