Funeral Services Held for Charles Dyson in Kansas City
Charles Dyson who died Tuesday night at Lake Side Hospital in Kansas City was honored with funeral services Thursday at two o'clock in the Ork Community church. A short home service preceded by relatives at 1146 o'clock, with Rev Sword officiating, concluded with burial in Lower York cemetery. A male quartet provided music. flowers were arranged by Irene Schick and Mrs. Emil Brach. Dyson, born near Thomson on April 23 1868, left a long career in rail work across several states and retired to a Kansas City pension in 1937. He leaves two sons Lloyd and Paul of Kansas City, four grandchildren, and siblings including George of Lanark and three sisters.
