Massbach Couple Killed in Crossing Crash
Mr and Mrs Henry Ermel a middle aged Massbach area truck farm couple were killed when an Alanda Central passenger train struck their automobile on state route 64 north of Villa Park Til. The incident was investigated by Villa Park Chief Charles Wozniak. The Ermels recently moved east of Massbach and were en route to Villa Park for their son’s eighth grade graduation. Surviving are three sons and two daughters.
