Two Carroll Boys May Win State Fair Trip
Carroll county may send two delegates to the 31st Boys State Fair session at the state fair grounds in Springfield from Aug. 17 to 28. Applications are from Lawrence E. Lanark Man Hurt In Route 64 Crash Near Mt Carroll
George Haggard, 45, of Lanark, suffered a broken right ankle and severe cuts when his car crashed into a culvert two miles west of Mt Carroll on Route 64. He received first aid from a Mt Carroll physician and was later taken to a Freeport hospital. His car was badly damaged.
