Crash east of Savanna sends four to hospital
Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the Excelsior school corner on Route 52 east of Savanna. Leo Jamason, 65, and his wife, 63, were hospitalized with four broken ribs and bruises while their son Paul, 28, was bruised but went home by train. Lloyd Hull, driver of the other car, was unharmed. Hull said sun glare blinded him as his vehicle struck the Jamason station wagon traveling east. Paul Jamason was en route from Independence to visit Valparaiso relatives.
