Thomson and Chadwick Men of Vigilance Force Prove Real Metal

Thomson and Chadwick vigilance committee members answered Clinton’s call as Fairfield and Sawyer escaped. A posse pursued the bandits across roads and hills, converging near Chadwick. After a gunfight the driver was killed. another occupant died. Fairfield and Sawyer were captured or escaped with no wounds. The bandits’ car contained rifles shotguns revolvers and ammunition. A. L. Dittmar plans to move into the Hollinshead house.
