Old Timers Recall Thomson Baseball Star Harry Houghton
A 1910 Thompson tribute salutes Harry Houghton and Thomson’s famed old-time team. It recalls past games at Lewis Field, named players such as Martindale, Burton Hollinshead, George Potter, and Bayard Cole, and legends from early Thomson baseball histories. The piece celebrates fan support, local memories, and a pending reunion banquet with former stars and kin.
