St Pauls Lutheran church Sunday school will present a Christmas program on Christmas Eve at 7 15 PM. The show splits into two parts featuring carols, dialogues, solos, and a cantata style pageant with cast members including Naomi Eisfeller Velda Hartman Leif Hartman Rene Knoess Daehler Hilda Knoess and many others. Members of the Woman's Missionary Society of Hope Evangelical church met at Mrs. Frank Cheeseman's home on Thursday afternoon to elect new officers. Names include Mrs. Oscar Balm president, W J Schreiner vice president, Clifton Spen secretary, Mrs. Elmer Lahn treasurer, and Mrs. I L Spearman corresponding secretary. Other roles list Mrs. Evan Rahn choir band advisor, Esther Eberly mission band secretary, Mildred Schreiner assistant leader, Mrs. Frank Cheeseman librarian, and Mrs. George Kreiner station chairman.
Chadwick churches host annual Yuletide programs on Christmas Eve at 7 80 pm with gift distribution to children. Hope Evangelical and First Evangelical Lutheran plan varied recitations songs and instrumentals led by multiple soloists and choirs, followed by offertory and benediction.

Chadwick grade school pupils raised funds by selling Christmas seals for tuberculosis prevention. Fifth and sixth grades sold 6.88 dollars worth, while seventh and eighth grades moved 5.10 dollars. The total seals sold at Chadwick reached 1,145.
The junior choir from First Evangelical Lutheran church was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Zugschwert after a Christmas cantata. Guests included Geo. Pambmann and family, Betty Dial, Mildred Stadel, and others, with Mrs. Zagenckwert directing. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Beal of Davenport joined Miss Alice Swartz for Sunday visits.
