Window signals and farm policy blend in 1933 notes
Reading from a July issue, a discussion compares car signaling via simple lever lights to its confusion causing drivers to misread intentions. It then shifts to a Security Administration survey showing tenant farmers favor ownership in the North over the South. A slot machine raid story follows, concluding with a look at Congress funding fights over farm relief and labor hours as holidays approach. Both items reflect 1930s public concerns.
