Bodies Of Fiderly Chadwick Fesi found Sunday
Bodies of Mrs. Catherine Musselman 91 and her brother William H. Provant 81 were found Sunday at the Chadwick home. A double funeral service was held Tuesday at Frank Funeral Home with burial in Dutchtown cemetery. An inquest heard that Musselman suffered from mental illness and Provant feared sending her to an institution. A note, a cash box with about $600, a hammer and a butcher knife tied to the case were described by coroner witnesses.

A Lanark circuit court jury valued a .18 acre tract at 325 dollars for Lanark high school board’s new grounds. The land near Lanark cemetery west of highway 64 is part of a larger 20 acre site with several parcels under litigation. Survey committee suggests changes in school districts
Contracts for Walter Hawk Carroll County farm superintendent Dr R H Petty and Miss Margaret Handlin county nurse were approved Tuesday at the December meeting of the board of supervisors. Hawk's new contract raises salary by 400 a year while others remain the same. The board also increases deputy sheriff hire allowance from 1500 to 2400 a year.
