Mrs Charles Beck was notified Monday of her stepmother Mrs C W Hockett of Cleveland passing away. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Cleveland. Mr Hockett had left for Florida last week and his permanent address is unknown. The last word to Mrs Beck had him in Tallahassee. Mrs Hackett belonged to the Eastern Star lodge for many years. Franke and Gwitzer promote a Christmas store feature inviting visits for practical gifts and honest deals.

Mrs Jake Miller Died After Long Illness Funeral Wednesday
Mrs Jake Miller died Monday after a long illness and was buried Wednesday at Lower York cemetery. The Thomson community mourns a devoted teacher and citizen, with service at the late home conducted by Rev Carroll Lanzeion. Surviving are the husband three sisters a brother and two foster sons. Miss Stumbaugh born 1874 taught in Clinton Serron and Mississippi, married Jack Miller in 1917. Funeral attendance included Misses Louise St Ores and Hackett Sith at the piano.
