Harold Brinkmeier was elected chairman of the Northern Illinois Camping Association at the Ottawa meeting on November 24. The association covers 29 counties in northern Illinois plus LaFayette County Wisconsin and Chicago Four clubs own Shawwawassee in Kankakee and White Eagle near Adeline. Auxiliary Holds November Meeting at Thomson
The Thomson American Legion Auxiliary held their November 17 meeting voting to send funds to Ruth Cottage in Normal for Christmas gifts and to the general spending fund. Ruth Turney reported $10 given for the Thomson community Halloween party. Plans for a December Christmas party were announced. Anna Greeley leads the membership contest. 116 people were served at the Early Bird supper. The auxiliary will also donate to the cigarette fund at East Moline State Hospital. Mrs. Wilbur Reader served refreshments.

NIU Seniors Use Winter Theme in Student Teaching
