Florence Crittenton Conference Set in Boston May 20 24
The National Florence Crittenton Conference will be held May 20 through May 24 at the Hotel Touraine in Boston. A principal luncheon is planned for May 23 with Miss Maud Morlock of the Federal Children's Bureau as main speaker. Parade of Brides Features Meeting at St Johns Hall
Mrs Wm J Kirby directed a novel entertainment for about 300 attendees at St Johns Hall Lincoln Street on Monday evening May 15. Junior members of the Winthrop Catholic Woman's Club modeled wedding gowns spanning 1800 to the present as brides procession marched down the aisle.

Couple Observes 75th Anniversary at Silver Wedding
On their silver wedding anniversary last Saturday May 13 Mr and Mrs Bradshaw of 232 Main St celebrated with friends. Ernest Bentley of Winthrop showed color motion pictures of a British Isles trip. Esther Hull Madison played piano solos including Butterfly. Norman Gentle sang Scotch songs. Muriel Douglas and Mrs Bradshaw performed instrumentals and a new composition April. Mrs W Williams led a community sing. Guests received gifts and a delightful collation was served as they wished them 25 more years of happiness.
