Two hundred thirty members of the Senior Class of Winthrop High School received diplomas Friday morning June 16 at 10 o clock in the Winthrop Theatre. The High School Orchestra conducted by N Elliot Willis played the march as girls wore white dresses and boys navy suits with blue ties. Each graduate wore a red rose.

Ralph M. Harper Jr., son of Rev. Ralph M. Harper and Mrs. Harper, swept four of 14 scholastic prizes at Winthrop Senior High School.
