Spanish War Veterans Camp Instituted in Winthrop
The George H. Russell Camp of U S W V was instituted at Elks Hall Winthrop on Sunday June 2 with officers installed by Dept Commander Alexander D. Mitchell. A 2 pm parade from Metcalf Square led by the 9th Regiment C A C Band, escorted by local posts and groups, drew three hundred citizens. Boy and Girl Scouts aided, and Richard R. Flynn spoke on the order’s purpose.

Final Service In Methodist Church Sunday June 16
