Miss M. Geneva Diggins Rescued From Scobey Hospital Fire
Miss Diggins, resident of Putnam Street, survived a Sunday afternoon fire at Scobey Hospital Back Bay. She recalls her room on the second floor and assistance from nurse Miss Johnson before evacuation to the home of Mrs. S. W. Herrick. Her brother Walter Nickerson aided with clothing while she recovered with Dr. Thomas Wickham treating her.
