Stars of Summer Night studied by Rangers on August 17

The Rangers met at 9 p.m. at Mrs. Grace E. Burns home 28 Lincoln St to view an explanation of the solar system given by Miss Minnie H. Floyd. She described planets stars constellations and identified Arcturus Vega Deneb Antares Altair Capella and Aldebaran. The next meeting Sept 7 will be a trip to the Waltham Field Station led by Mrs. Burns.

Theatre Manager Promoted to District Post in Snider Theatres

Sewage System Bill Advances for Deer Island Project

The Garden Club of the Winthrop Woman's Club announces its Eighth Annual Flower Show with classes for Specimen Blooms, Arrangements, Junior Divisions, and special exhibits. Open to Winthrop residents. entries accepted Thursday evening and Friday morning with limits of two per class. Professional judges will award prizes. exhibitors are responsible for their property.
