Woman Shoots Self After Quarrel at Hay Camp
Ida Knight Detimer, 52, shot herself with a 38 calibre revolver at the family home near the hay camp after declaring she would kill herself. Found dead with a breast wound severing the aorta, she had suffered earlier mental strain and a prior razor attempt. Survived by husband William Detimer and adopted by Rev. Lone Man Robs Vera Bank in Oklahoma
An unidentified robber robbed the State Bank of Vera Oklahoma twenty miles south of Bartlesville late yesterday securing 1600 dollars. He forced a depositor and a bank official to follow him a mile into the country where his horse was tied. Robber was captured by locals and faced Bartlesville police who identified James Adram Lockhardt as the suspect. He claimed to have lived near Vera for years.
