Oklahoma Banking Board Faces Mandamus Over 200000 Emergency Certificates
The Oklahoma banking board fights a mandamus to pay 200000 in emergency certificates issued in 1911 to secure assets of the Night and Day Bank. The suit, filed by Wilkin-Hale State Bank of Oklahoma City, seeks full payment as the board argues discretionary power and has paid all deposits.
