Boy's leg broken by horse fall near Wilcon street
John Clinkscales, son of Dr A M Clinkscales, was badly injured yesterday afternoon when a horse fell on him near the city pumping station on North Wilcon street. He rode a horse barefoot and the rain in moist ground likely caused the animal to slip. The leg broke in two places with a wound where bone protruded through the skin. Dr Clinkscales treated the injury at the scene and the boy was taken home. He is reported as resting as well as can be expected today.
