Indicted in county circuit court during grand jury session
A recent grand jury indicted 27 individuals in a wide ranging case. Among those named were Steven Cardwell of Front Royal facing felony assault on a police officer and malicious wounding, plus obstructing justice and domestic assault counts. Miranda, Johnson, Shifflett, Ezzell, Carson, Driscoll, Huntt, Williams, Fewell, Berry, Edwards, Kuhn, Joseph Orlando, Crow, Walter, Henry, Myers, Addison, Brent, Showers, Barr, and Starks with varied heroin, firearm, larceny, and distribution charges. Several pled guilty or await court dates, with multiple arrests and custodial statuses noted. Four other indictments from the session will be detailed next week.
