Short-term tourist rental requests rise in Warren County
Warren County planners scheduled a June 11 public hearing on Jon and Susan Fuller’s conditional use permit to rent a Linden Apple Mountain home to relatives and tourists. Fullers bought in January, living in Florida, with rentals allowed for five acres or more in agricultural districts. Next week, June 17, the Board of Supervisors will hear a similar case from Todd and Brenda Peal in Skyland Estates Hidden Valley.

Board returns 1.25 mil surplus to schools
Warren County Board of Supervisors approves re-appropriation of 1,252,720 in FY 2012 2013 surplus funds to the Warren County School Board.
