Budget impasse could halt Warren County bridges
County Administrator Doug Stanley warned the June 30 budget deadline could force shutdowns on three Warren County bridge projects South Fork Gooney Creek and Indian Hollow if the state budget remains unsettled. He warned the halt would also damage the local economy as vendors and contractors await VDOT payments.

EDA OK to buy more land for Leach Run Parkway
Warren County supervisors authorize the Economic Development Authority to purchase a final 1 acre site on John Marshall Highway for Leach Run Parkway. Valley Health eyes Medicaid expansion impact in Virginia
Valley Health president Mark Merrill warned at a May meeting that choosing not to expand would cost the system 28.2 million dollars.
