Fires damage two Front Royal homes in separate incidents
A cigarette sparked a townhouse fire on West 13th Street at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, extinguished by residents with no injuries. Early Monday a Panoramic View Lane single family home suffered about 220000 in damage and was a total loss, with investigators deeming the blaze accidental and under Fire Marshal review. five residents evacuated unharmed.

County to secure conservation easement on 50 acre Shenandoah parcel
