Arlington doctor convicted for oxycodone distribution
A federal jury in Alexandria convicted Kirsten Van Steenberg Ball, 69, of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and 19 counts of distribution. Ball operated a home Arlington practice using a patient network to illegally prescribe over 1 million oxycodone pills. Her office manager Can die Marie Calix of Front Royal was jailed in 2022 for conspiracy. Ball faces up to 20 years per count with sentencing set for February 27.

Hotelier proposes 107 room hotel in Warren County
