New Keyser Elementary principal named for July
Danelle Sperling will become principal of Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary in July. She replaces Amy Gabler, now principal of Warren County’s new middle school, and will host a meet and greet with staff. Sperling aims to honor the school’s history and earn trust from teachers, staff, students, parents, and the community. She returns to Warren County, where she previously worked as a special education teacher and later as assistant principal at Rappahannock High School.

Police track down suspect in hit and run case
Front Royal police recovered a hit and run suspect, Timothy Burroughs, 45, of Chester Gap, after EMT Thomas Nowell provided key SUV details.
